Michael Syvertson
Michael Syvertson grew up the eldest son of Selmer and Katharine Syvertson.
Selmer was a career Sergeant in the USAF.
Michael grew up in Michigan, New York, Scotland, England, Crete, Texas, California and North Dakota.
Michael served six years with the 191 MP Co in the NDARNG, was awarded the humanitarian service award, and an honorable discharge.
He served for 9 years as a volunteer fireman, 4 years a deacon at Bruflat Lutheran church. Michael was elected first president of the North Dakota Independent Auto Dealers Association, he won Tri-State Quality dealer of the year, and was national runner- up. Michael was the North Dakota Heavyweight Bodybuilding Champion 1991-1994, and runner-up in 1995. He also has coached and played amateur basketball and slow pitch softball for over 30 years and was blessed to play semi-pro football on the O-line with his eldest son playing tailback, at age of 40.
Michael is married to Gena Syvertson, his partner in life and business. They have three grown children and their spouses, four grandchildren and two very spoiled pugs!
